Unlimited International Arts Placement

Unlimited is an arts commissioning programme that aims to embed exceptional work by disabled artists within the UK and international cultural sectors, reach new audiences, and shift perceptions of disabled people. It is delivered in partnership by Shape Arts and Artsadmin, with funding from Arts Council England, Arts Council of Wales, British Council and Spirit of 2012.

In partnership with the British Council, Unlimited is offering a professional development placement for a disabled person who is based outside of the UK and is working (or beginning to work) as an arts producer, curator or arts administrator.

This International Placement aims to support the next generation of arts leaders and is a unique opportunity, offering a hands-on experience of the delivery of the Unlimited programme.

The placement is for 10 weeks, with approximately 6 weeks based in the UK, joining the Unlimited team in the delivery of various activities at Unlimited festivals in London and Glasgow.

This opportunity is fully supported by a grant to cover the financial expenses incurred, and to provide any access support.

Applicants must be able to communicate effectively in written and spoken English.

Unlimited works to the Social Model of Disability, and will support applicants with access requirements. Please contact Sara Dziadik with any questions on
