Artists' Sweatshop

2.30pm-6pm. Free

This event is now fully booked.

Calling all overworked, overwhelmed and underpaid artists!

Join us for a hands-on session on how to apply to Arts Council England’s Grants for the Arts scheme as an individual artist. Artsadmin producers and advisors will share tips, example applications and alternative approaches aimed at demystifying the process for artists working on draft applications.

This session is open to a maximum of 12 artists and would suit those who are in the process of writing an application or who have a clear idea of a project they want to apply for. Please bring your draft applications and an openness to share ideas, advice and dilemmas. No GfA problem too big or too small! We will try to brighten your working conditions with tea, biscuits and wifi.

Detailed, in depth advice personally tailored to my application from a group of experienced individuals with a wealth of varying experiences of the process.

Participant (March 2012)

To book, contact Edd Hobbs / 020 7247 5102

From autumn 2012 we will be running further Sweatshops on topics including participation and self-producing.
