Museum of Water

Museum of Water showcases our connection to the world's most essential life source in Australia's driest state. For the last year, the Museum of Water custodians have been touring Western Australia, turning strangers into friends and liquid into art as donations are collected alongside the memories that go with them.

Visitors can wander through a WA landscape where you can see the collection of more than 500 bottles of water, each with its own remarkable story. There are samples from Poison Gully and the Great Barrier Reef and a splash from a Paralympian's swimming pool. You can also share your own story by donating a bottle of water that is precious to you.

On weekends, dive into a free public programme of boat-building workshops, conversations, youth-led tours and music.

A Perth Festival and Artsadmin production in association with Fremantle Arts Centre and the Western Australia Museum. Supported by Water Corporation.
