Eddie and David are disillusioned street performers. Eddie is tough, confrontational and not afraid to defend his beliefs. David is a legless dancer who is quietly determined not to let his disability or society’s prejudices get in the way.
The Cost of Living is an influential and acclaimed film by a company who cross the boundaries of dance, theatre, film and social commentary. This is a rare opportunity to see a seminal piece of work that has won many awards (including the 2005 Prix Italia and the Rose D’Or). It’s also a great chance to relax, have a drink and socialise in a friendly, laid back environment!
The feature will be accompanied by three shorts from new filmmakers.
