EVANGELIA BASDEKIS
I Trust You

In the performance, I Trust You, Basdekis’ relentlessly sews her skin in an acute exploration of pain and politics. Over one day the artist silently embroiders the sole of her foot, gradually creating the image of Mickey Mouse. In one space Basdekis is immersed in her gruesome needlework, whilst in an adjacent space a live video relay offers a mediated distance on the performance.

This event is free but booking is required. RSVP to nikki@artsadmin.co.uk. This is a durational performance and you are free to enter and leave when you like.
