Daniel Gosling
I Can Feel The Ice Melting
6-10pm
Borrowing the title of a little-known 60s soul song about succumbing to romantic love, the video installation I Can Feel The Ice Melting exchanges the gentle lilt of its namesake’s vocal for the distant whine and roar of passenger jets as they pass over a patch of rural England.
Since 2000, Daniel Gosling has made extensive use of hitchhiking and walking as a process of art production. The location of I Can Feel The Ice Melting was discovered on a daytime return to the scene of a night walk, in search of a dropped torch.

Institute for the Art and Practice of Dissent at Home
A Promising Family Picnic
7-7.30pm
A family picnic in the garden under a large red banner and a blue sky. Signs of the past 9 years of family flights will be painted onto their red banner. Watch them eat, drink, play, paint, confess, stand up, speak out and make promises to end climate chaos.
The Institute for the Art and Practice of Dissent at Home are Gary Anderson, Lena Simic, Neal 8, Gabriel 6 and Sid 20 months. A home-run artist-activist initiative, run out of the spare room of a council house in Everton, Liverpool.
Magnificent Revolution
8-10pm
Be part of a real-time bike powered sound system that creates a direct relationship between the DJ and her audience – when the pedalling stops, so does the music. Magnificent Revolution is a collective of artists, musicians, designers, ecologists, engineers and freaks, weaning themselves off the fossil fuel drip via the revolution of the bicycle wheel.
Two Degrees is Artsadmin’s week long programme of work by radical and politically engaged artists about climate change and our relationship with the environment.
