Tebrik, “congratulate” in Turkish, is a film installation of London based Turkish Cypriot weddings attended by Mem Morrison in the past thirty years exhibited alongside photos of Shoreditch weddings collected from the local Turkish Cypriot, Turkish and Kurdish communities. 

Come along and experience local wedding memories or share a personal wedding memory of your own. You are invited to join Mem Morrison and take part in the craft of bomboniere making, a traditional wedding favour that you can then dedicate and give to someone special.

Tebrik is a free event.

A Shoreditch Festival commission.
