Advisory Service
Artsadmin offers free one-to-one advice sessions to all UK-based artists at any stage of their career who work in contemporary performance practice.
Our advisory service was set up in 1998 and has since provided advice, information and guidance to over 5000 artists. Sessions can be one-to-one or in small groups for artists who are working collaboratively; we also offer advice and information by email and phone.
The content of advisory sessions is driven by the questions each artist brings, and tailored to their concerns. Common topics include project development, opportunities and contexts for developing and showing work; funding applications, marketing, issues around documentation and representation; networking, collaboration, and dialogue around artistic development of the work itself.
To book an appointment with one of Artsadmin’s advisors, please email advisoryservice@artsadmin.co.uk or call us on 020 7247 5102. We tend to book at least a fortnight in advance due to demand. To make best use of time, please see our Frequently Asked Questions before booking a session, in case your question can be answered there.
You are also welcome to download the Intro to DIY Peer Support Activity compiled by New Work Network and Artsadmin, which outlines a number of working peer support models.
