Joanne Matthews

Joanne has been on the youth board since 2010 and since this time her role has developed into youth board co-ordinator. Currently she is supporting the newest members of the board as a mentor and facilitator.

Joanne's work develops through collaboration. Joanne has been making work since leaving university with a Degree in Modern Drama Studies from Brunel. In this time she has collaborated on projects with Artsadmin including, I am a Thinktank with Richard Dedomenici and A benchmark in Poscapitalism part of the Two Degrees 2009.

In 2010 Joanne was commissioned by Artsadmin as part of Pass it On where she produced They Said It Was Just Like Margate, a vibrant and nostalgic celebration of Victoria Park in East London looking at and working with local residents connecting them with the rich history of the area.



Joanne is also an arts administrator, marketer, writer and producer. She has worked with artists Jim Woodall, Gerladine Pilgrim, The Haircut Before the Party and organisations inlcuding Artsadmin, UP Projects and Southwark Arts Forum.
