Lorie Jo Trainor Buckingham and Ana Vicente
Lorie Jo and Ana met in 2016 on the Performance Making MA at Goldsmiths, University of London and have been working collaboratively since. Prior to their MA, they both had developed individual visual arts practices over the course of fifteen years.
Together, their work has been driven by encounters with specific sites, often not immediately accessible or in the state of flux and the people that already exist in or are involved with these places. Placing emphasis on process over product, their work responds to the relationships formed in and around accessing these sites. They create real-time experiences and situations that invite viewers, participants and contributors to spend time in, observe and contemplate.
