#SeasonforChange: organisations and artists across the UK spark conversations about the future of our planet

Posted on Jul 23, 2018

Artsadmin and Julie’s Bicycle are delighted to announce that Season for Change is underway with over 30 events having taken place in its first 6 weeks of the season!

Season for Change is a UK-wide programme of cultural responses celebrating the environment and inspiring urgent action on climate change. From June–December 2018, organisations and artists across the UK spark conversations about the future of our planet through performances, exhibitions, talks, film screenings, workshops and events.

You can explore the events coming up across the UK on the Season for Change website, from air pollution astronauts in Glasgow to interactive installations in Brighton.

If you're an artist and an arts organisation interested in holding an event as part of Season for Change, find out how you can take part and use our resources to green your events.
Season for Change is led by Julie’s Bicycle and Artsadmin, and was initiated from the What Next? movement in association with Battersea Arts Centre.

“There is quite simply no issue more serious and urgent than the future of our planet. We know how powerful the arts can be in raising awareness and inspiring action – and so much more powerful when speaking with one voice. We hope that Season for Change will be the loud creative chorus that’s needed to put environmental issues at the forefront of our minds and offer us all hope for the future.”
– Judith Knight, Director, Artsadmin
