nottdance08 Dialogue

nottdance have joined forces with Springdance (Utrecht, Netherlands) and National Dance Centre Bucharest (Bucharest, Romania) to bring together twelve emerging international artists in a series of dialogue events that will take place both in Nottingham and London. During the week, the artists will talk, share work, cook, ask questions and exchange ideas together. In the following week, they will each show a piece of work. In order to help them on their journey, nottdance have invited Thomas Lehmen and Rose Fenton to mentor the artists.

The Netherlands : Jack Gallagher, Tabea Martin, Jenny Beyer, Pia Meuthen
Romania : Ana Costea, Carmen Cotofana, Alexandra Pirici, Eduard Gabia
All the artists taking part in the nottdance dialogue will be showing work during the festival in Nottingham or London. Some will be sharing work in progress, some more finished extracts of existing work revisited for nottdance08. Each night brings an exciting mix of double and triple bills with representatives from the UK, the Netherlands and Romania.
On Saturday 18 October, Lucy Cash will be showing her film Sight Reading and present excerpts from a new work in progress Everything That Happens Here as part of a triple bill with Eduard Gabia (Romania) and Tabea Martin (Holland).
