Encounters @ Cornershop

Encounters @ Cornershop

What makes you smile?
Where do you pass by every day?
How many houses have you lived in?
When was the last time you spoke to a stranger?
Who would you like to thank?
You are invited to bring your answers, your memories, your stories, your photos, and your observations to Cornershop and contribute to the creation of evolving shop displays that will map and reveal traces of everyday life.
Pioneering artists, Encounters will be in residence in Cornershop asking questions and inviting you to share thoughts and ideas about who we are and where we live. This process of forensic art will investigate and peel back the layers of Winchester taking a snapshot of the place at this moment in time.
The shop will be open 11-5pm
Fridays and Saturdays 3, 4, 10 & 11 October
Special events weekend 17 & 18 October
