Now a monthly staple for all but a few, David Gale’s Peachy Coochy Nites are held on the last Thursday of each month in Artsadmin's Arts Bar & Café, where the merciless Peachy Coochy format is imposed on a fresh succession of showoffs.
What is Peachy Coochy?
The projector projects 20 images for precisely 20 seconds each. The coocheur (or Presenter) speaks for precisely twenty seconds per image. Randomness is discouraged but narrative linearity is not automatically esteemed.
