Moving Home Music

Moving Home Music continues a commitment to produce work in Artmusic’s home town. Helen Ottaway is working with local brass bands in Somerset as part of Home in Frome’s project Moving Home. With the imminent demise of a small estate of social housing, which is also home to the rehearsal rooms of the Town Band, there is an opportunity to explore and celebrate local distinctiveness and a sense of place. Helen’s new work will weave threads of sound through the fabric of the town of Frome creating surprising combinations of life and art. Moving Home Music is part of Frome Festival 2010.
