There’s a Hole in My Heart That Goes All The Way To China
7.30pm
Workshop 19 May
“This is a hole”. A woman stands pointing down at a chocolate cake. She begins the task of performing 1,324,655,000 push-ups over the cake; one push-up for each person who lives in China.
Part performance, part art provocation join Stacy on an adventure that will make you laugh and break your heart. There's A Hole In My Heart That Goes All The Way To China mines the mysterious caverns of the human heart, digs down deep into the depths of loneliness, despair and shame, but even in its darkest moments, the canary still sings.
