The Haircut Before the Party: Parataxis: An expositional experiment
7pm-10pm
Parataxis is a international experiment conceived by Eleanor Weber that brings together lecture-like presentations, poetry readings, film screenings, performances, installations and music.
At the salon the event will take a discursive approach to finding THCBTP's exploration of ‘other potential values within exchange when financial transactions are removed'. Come along for an evening of inspiring and experimental work that creates collective chaos and 'common dis-measure'. Confirmed participating artists are Alex Gawronski, Anastasia Freygang, Ashley Wong, Brian Fuata, Eleanor Weaver, Marian Tubbs, Noah Brehmer, Owen Parry and Richard Houguez.
“the law of the great parataxis, is that there is no longer any measurement, anything in common. It is the common factor of dis-measure or chaos that now gives art its power.”
