The Jam: a cultural compote

The Arts Bar & Café once more opens its doors and invites you to sample The Jam: a night of live music, stand up, performance poetry, new writing and a few other tasty treats from the artists of London Town…

This season's specialties come as fruity concoction of poets and comedians including Prudence Chamberlain, Jarred McGinnis, Phil Hooks, Dan Simpson, Sophie Robinson, Ed Eales-White of Clever Peter, Nathan Williams, Superbard and sketch-duo McNeil and Pamphilon.

Prudence Chamberlain:
After recently reading at the Carnival of Feminist Cultural Activism in Leeds, poet Prudence Chamberlain returns to The Jam with a selection of works focusing on transient moments of urban existence.
 
Jarred McGinnis:

Most recently, Jarred McGinnis's fiction has appeared in PANK, Atticus Review, Litro and commissioned for BBC Radio 4. He is the co-founder of London's literary variety night, The Special Relationship. He is wickedtomocktheafflicted.com
 
Sophie Robinson:

As well as being the current Poet in Residence at the V&A Museum, Sophie has featured in a range of anthologies as well as creating her first book Les Figues publishd in 2009.

Ed Eales-White:

1/4 of sketch group Clever Peter (BBC Radio 4 series arrives in May) performs some solo character creations.
