LACE: Hopscotch To Victory

Sparks will Fly at Colchester Carnival
Castle Park

Help Live Art Collective East Hopscotch to Victory in an attempt to set the world record for the most people playing hopscotch in the same place, at the same time. Inspired by the London 2012 Games, Richard DeDomenici and Caroline Wright are recruiting hundreds of participants of all ages to take part in this celebration of hopping, stepping, throwing and jumping.

Hopscotch has been played in the UK since the Roman times but now you can be part of hopscotch history by coming along to the carnival in Britain’s oldest recorded Roman town.
