SCRITS
The deadline for submissions has passed.
Need advice about work in progress?
Want to present to an audience outside of education?
Have ideas that you need to share with a group of other artists?
SCRITS are a model that combine a theatre “scratch” with the constructive feedback of a visual arts “crit.” Offering a platform for emerging young artists to present their work to a new audience. Artsadmin's Youth Board is currently inviting proposals for works at different stages of completion and from any discipline for presentation. Feedback is structured by the audiences' response to the work and will follow each showing. The aim is that this discourse will prove valuable to the work's future development.
Each SCRIT will consist of an initial 10-15 minute performance/presentation period followed by a 20-minute discussion. Artists must be under the age of 25 and can be working across the spectrum of theatre, visual arts, dance and performance. Arts professionals, artists and peers will comprise the invited audience
Please note that there is a limited capacity for this event and audience is mainly by invite only. Please RSVP to youthboard@artsadmin.co.uk if you would like you attend to give structured feedback for work.
