Calling all overworked, overwhelmed and underpaid artists – the ever-popular GFA Sweatshop is back!

Join us for a discursive and hands-on workshop on how to apply to Arts Council England’s small Grants for the Arts scheme as an individual artist. Artsadmin producers and advisors will share tips, example applications and alternative approaches aimed at teasing out the process for artists working on draft applications.

This Sweatshop is best suited to artists who are in the process of writing an application and/ or have a very clear idea of a project they would want to apply for. Please bring your draft applications and an openness to share ideas, advice and dilemmas – no GfA problem too big or too small!

We will try to brighten your working conditions with tea, biscuits and wifi.

As numbers are limited and demand is high, please only sign up to the Sweatshop if you can definitely make this date and time.
