Calling all overworked, overwhelmed and underpaid artists!

Artsadmin Sweatshops are informal, hands-on sessions designed to de-mystify some of the more baffling administrative aspects of being an artist. Each Sweatshop is a free open session for a maximum of 12 artists, facilitated by different members of the Artsadmin team. We will try to brighten your working conditions with tea, biscuits and wifi.

This month we’re running our first ever Sweatshop on Finance, looking at best practices for day-to-day cashflow and budgeting. Led by Artsadmin producers and advisors alongside our Finance Manager Steve Ehrlicher, this Sweatshop will discuss what finance is, what levels of finance artists should be doing and how to do it well.

Please bring something to make notes with and an openness to share any queries or confusions – no question is too big or too small!

– A couple of sentences about why you are interested in attending the finance Sweatshop and what you hope to get out of it.

Sweatshops are free but booking is essential.

As numbers are limited and demand is high, please only sign up to the Sweatshop if you can definitely make this date and time.
