Calling all overworked, overwhelmed and underpaid artists!

Join us for a discursive and practical workshop on how to apply to Arts Council England’s new Grants for the Arts scheme as an individual artist for amounts up to £15,000. Artsadmin producers and advisors will share tips, example applications and alternative approaches aimed at teasing out the process for artists working on draft applications.

This Sweatshop is best suited to artists who are in the process of writing an application or have a clear idea of a project they want to apply for. Please bring your draft applications and an openness to share ideas, advice and dilemmas – no GfA problem too big or too small!

We will try to brighten your working conditions with tea, biscuits and wifi.

Each Sweatshop is a free open session for up to 12 participating artists. To book, email advisoryservice@artsadmin.co.uk with a short introduction to your practice and why you’d like to attend the Sweatshop. Please only book if you know for certain that you can attend the Sweatshop on that date.
