Slap Talk is a six-hour verbal sparring match that is both a linguistic version of a boxing match and a reflection of the violence present in everyday language. Throughout the performance, the performers deliver a continuous barrage of the passive aggressive violence of lovers talking, the subtle violence of middle-class one-upmanship, the hard sell of a shopping channel, the anger of the fire and brimstone preacher… You are free to enter and leave at any time during the performance.
