Sweatshop – Grants for the Arts

Artsadmin Sweatshops are informal, hands-on afternoons for artists. Each session focuses on a key area of artistic or professional development.

Join us this Spring for a practical workshop on how to apply for Arts Council England’s Grants for the Arts scheme as an individual artist. Artsadmin producers and advisors will share tips and example applications, supporting artists applying for funding.

The sweatshop is designed for artists who are applying for a small Grant for the Arts (under £15k) for the first time, or who are yet to have a successful application. It is best suited to those who are in the process of writing an application or have a clear idea of a project they want to apply for.

There are 12 places for artists working in contemporary performance, live art and participatory services. To book, email advisoryservice@artsadmin.co.uk with a short introduction to your practice and why you’d like to attend.
