Museum of Water

18 & 19, 21-23, 25 & 26 February, 4 & 5 March.

A vial of tears, melted ice from Antarctica and a plastic bottle of billabong water – every drop tells a story.

Surfing, swimming, desalination, irrigation and thirst – the pleasures and politics of water affect us all.

Choose your water, find something to put it in and tell us why you brought it. Perth International Arts Festival (PIAF) Artist-in-Residence Amy Sharrocks invites you to consider your relationship with the world's most indispensable liquid as she builds the Western Australian edition of the award-winning Museum of Water

The Museum opens at PIAF 2017 before a large-scale version at the festival in 2018.

Museum of Water
will be accompanied by a public programme of events, including sessions with artists, poets, botanists, surfers and Noongar storytellers.
