Sarah Woods & Andrew Simms: Neoliberalism – The Break-up tour
Sarah Woods
7.30pm. £5.
Neoliberalism comes under the microscope in this new interactive performance.
Having toured the world in triumph for decades, playing to packed houses of adoring fans from politics, business and the media, the glory days of neoliberal economics are coming to an end. It’s time to park up the neoliberal tour bus and find a new way forward.
Where did it all go so right? How did it all go so wrong? With the impacts of climate change, poverty and inequality growing, and a political backlash threatening the fabric of civilisation, can we move forward rapidly enough to prevent disaster and bring about a better future?
In this performance, author and political economist Andrew Simms and playwright and activist Sarah Woods take us on a whirlwind, unfinished tour of our collective economic fate.
