Steakhouse Live Festival
12-9pm. £15/£12 concessions.
Steakhouse Live Festival takes place on 24 & 25 February, for one weekend of rowdy, fleshy, intoxicating live art and performance. Beginning at Rich Mix on Saturday, the festival will travel to Toynbee Studios on Sunday for a full day of durational performance.
Taking over the whole building, all four floors will be filled with Steakhouse Live’s signature fusion of theatre, dance, sculpture, drag and a line-up of glitteringly irreverent performance.
Steakhouse Live is a DIY platform for radical performance practices. Embracing unpredicatbility and championing the unprofessional, Steakhouse Live is an incubator for experimental live work. Whether you’re a regular or a newcomer to performance, Steakhouse Live creates a space for new experiences and alternative communities.
Artist line-up:
Kira O’Reilly, Amanda Coogan, Victoria Sin, Bean, Madeleine Botet De Lacaze, Begona Grande, Imogen Roberts and a durational film by Reynir Hutber with Marcia Farquhar.
