Neurodiversity, Afro Futurism & Superpowered Creativity

Nwando Ebizie

Toynbee Studios
28 Commercial Street
E1 6AB

7.30pm. Free. Please RSVP to emily@artsadmin.co.uk.

On the cusp of emotional collapse in 2015, Nwando Ebizie discovered that she had a rare neurological disorder called ‘visual snow’. Since then, she has been exploring the neuroscience of perception, collaborating with neuroscientists and artists on the idea that all our realities are broken.

Sharing findings from research undertaken as part of her Artsadmin Artist Bursary, Nwando invites you to consider that our weird perceptual distortions are, in fact, a superpower.

Guest speakers on the night include:
Dr Edward Bracey
Rachel Williams

If you’re visiting Toynbee Studios, you can let us know your access requirements ahead of time by emailing access@artsadmin.co.uk.
