What would a collectively imagined future be like? What are the concerns of people across Europe? Can we have hope in our future? Can we deal with fear in a healthy way? How do we avoid false hope?

Archive of Hope and Fear is a network of responses and tender provocations collected since 2015 from across Europe. By listening to diverse groups and inviting artists to share experiences, J & J have amassed a huge catalogue of responses to our futures and how to imagine it differently. Full of contradictions, criticisms and concrete ideas and interweaving the voices of over 400 people, the Archive connects the challenges that individuals face in their personal lives with the big stories that alarm us all.

Collected together and interlinked, Archive of Hope and Fear imagines what collectively authored futures could be like.

Supported by: City of Zurich Culture, Cultural Office Canton of Zurich, Pro Helvetia, Migros Culture Percentage (Prairie)

Part of the J&J's wider project, The art of a culture of hope.
