Aldgate in Winter

Launching from Sir John Cass’s Foundation Primary school playground at 4.45pm, the parade will culminate at a fete in Aldgate Square as the Christmas lights are switched on. Come along for performances from local choirs, performance groups and local schools, mulled wine, food, and further festivities.

This year, Artsadmin and Toynbee Hall are teaming up in Mallon Gardens from 4pm, where we’ll be serving delicious homemade treats from our Arts Bar & Café. Come and watch the Lantern Parade go past or join us on a short walk down to Aldgate Square.
