Radar: Budget Lines
Artists' workshop focusing on how to draft budgets, manage finances and stick to a budget in arts projects
All art projects need budgets, but overseeing the finances can be a daunting task. This Radar session looks at producing art through a financial lens, focusing on budget brainstorming, managing budgets, and creating a budget that is as flexible as the project it outlines.
With guidance from Artsadmin’s Executive Director Deborah Chadbourn, we will collectively construct budgets for arts projects of all scales, and speak about different approaches to managing a successful project.
About Radar
Radar is a vital part of Artsadmin’s support system for artists. Radar is a series of free sessions, talks and events. Each season, we offer different skills and tools for artists at all stages of their careers to build a more sustainable practice. Artsadmin’s expertise and experience lie in performance and live art, and so places for Radar are best suited to artists working directly in these fields. The theme for Spring 2020 is MONEY.
All of our Radar sessions can be BSL interpreted. Please get in touch in advance if this is a service you’d like to use. You can let us know your access requirements ahead of time by emailing access@artsadmin.co.uk.
