Radar: Designing Sustainable Finances

Via Zoom. 2.30-4pm. Free.

A session focused on building professional finance plans that work for artists.

Covid-19 has severely disrupted the financial situation of so many artists so we're dedicating a week to talking about money and financial advice. We’ve heard from artists that they feel overwhelmed by the reality of their financial situation, and that their fear and anxiety are increasing as this crisis goes on. Being a freelance artist means a lot of the general ‘how to do money’ tutorials don’t line up with our professional reality, especially in a Covid-19 context. So we’d like to help.

We’re offering two Radar workshops - one about personal finance, another (this one) on professional finance - and sharing guidance and resources for artists on our blog and social media on demystifying financial health and being more mindful about money.

About this session
In this session with Becki Haines, our new Artists’ Finance Manager at Artsadmin, we will look at ways to think strategically about financial structures that work for artists. We will be focussing on long-term financial planning and what to do if something goes wrong. This session is not about fundraising or seeking out new income streams, but rather how to make the most of what we have and identifying what else we need.

Who is this for?
This session is open to artists at any stage of their practice.

Booking opens soon
We will share on our social media when this event is available to book. Follow us on Twitter, Instagram or Facebook for updates.

The sessions will be delivered digitally via Zoom, with regular breaks. If you would like this session to be captioned, please email access@artsadmin.co.uk.
