Jelka Milic is a Slovene performer, choreographer and video artist based in London. Her work is strongly rooted in a process-led practice originating from a socially, culturally, and biologically inscribed place.
She is interested in physical transformations and notions of intimacy. She uses dance, movement and the moving image as a means of establishing a relationship with the audience that is beyond meaning and interpretation striving towards more intuitive forms of perception. Her work has previously been shown at The Place, Sadler’s Wells, Old Truman Brewery and at various international platforms.
