Artsadmin has been invited by the Maison Folie in Mons, Belgium, to programme the Ailleurs en Folie – London as part of Mons European Capital of Culture.
Working in collaboration with artists Rajni Shah, Rebecca Davies and the legendary East End night spot, Bethnal Green Working Men’s Club, we will reconstruct and inhabit our own version of a Working ‘Mons’ Club. It will bring together a community of artists who will question and celebrate the importance and meaning of community today.
Expect shouting, listening, life-drawing, arguing, lycra-wearing, hand-holding, whiskey-drinking, scotch egg eating and dancing around the bonfire.
