Make Space is designed for aspiring artists (aged 18–24) who wish to expand and explore themselves and their creative abilities through site-responsive contemporary performance-making.
Across four weeks (two in July and two in September) participants worked collaboratively with and from a chosen site, to experiment in the making of their own work.
Make Space 2015 was the third in a series of vocational summer projects run by Artsadmin and artist Nic Green. In 2015, the project invited participants to consider the idea of ‘perspective’. A word with multiple meanings, the group worked to explore this theme through performance, in relation to site and space.
