Artsadmin partners on programme for freelance producers to better support Learning Disabled and Neurodivergent (LD/ND) artists
Artsadmin is excited to be a partner on Spaces of Joy, a nationwide 12-week pilot programme for producers of contemporary performance, equipping them with the knowledge, skills, resources and networks for working with and feeling closer to the practice of Learning Disabled and Neurodivergent (LD/ND) artists.
Spaces of Joy is designed and led by Daisy Hale, supported by partner organisations Unity Liverpool, Fuel, Cambridge Junction, Camden Peoples’ Theatre, London International Festival of Theatre (LIFT), Artsadmin, and funded by Arts Council England. Daisy is also a trustee of Artsadmin.
There are 10 places available for independent freelance producers who will be selected from an open call. Another two organisation producers, including Valentina Vela, Artist Support Programme Producer, will also participate so there will be 12 producers in total.
We are interested in producers from across the UK, including those who are local to the partner organisations.
As part of our programme, we are also looking for learning disabled and neurodivergent (LD/ND) performers and performance artists to work closely with us to ensure that our programme has LD/ND performers and performance artists at its heart.
The deadline for applications is 20 May.
