Hippo World Guest Book

Another chance to catch Chris’s controversial verbatim/documentary piece, charting the rise and fall of the guest book at Hippo World, a real web site (now defunct) for hippopotamus enthusiasts. Outrageously funny, alarming and ultimately deeply poignant, Hippo World Guest Book was shortlisted for the 2007 Total Theatre Award for Experimentation, and features a recorded introduction by the late Oliver Postgate.
