Toynbee Studios has six spaces catering for professional work, ranging from intimate spaces where artists can experiment to professional dance and theatre studios for larger productions and rehearsals, as well as characterful and accessible spaces for meetings, conferences and events.

Toynbee Studios has a range of flexible spaces available for hire in the heart of London ranging from intimate spaces where artists can experiment to high spec dance and theatre studios for larger productions and rehearsals, as well as accessible and characterful spaces for meetings and events.

Covid-19 update

We have reopened with safety measures in place including an enhanced cleaning schedule and distancing. The maximum capacity of each space depends on the type of activity – we have made some recommendations for each studio and will discuss these with you during the booking process.

Rates

All all bookings are subject to a £30 booking fee.

All prices listed exclude VAT. Charity rates apply to charities, non-profits and performing arts companies. Any requests for hires for public events will be considered by Artsadmin but must be approved by the programming team as fitting with Artsadmin’s artistic objectives.

Regular studio hours are 10am–6pm, Monday–Friday. Hires outside of these hours are subject to additional duty management charges. Weekend surcharges apply to extended weekly hires. Conferences, public events and filming are possible by negotiation at separate rates.

Toynbee Studios is accessible to wheelchair users.
All of our toilets are gender neutral. Fully accessible toilets are located on the ground, first and third floors.
In the first floor disabled toilet, there is a wheelchair-accessible shower with a fold-down shower seat and an ergonomic sink that is adjustable in height.
There is a quiet space on the third floor.
We welcome guide, hearing and assistance dogs. A drinking bowl is located in the café foyer.
