Being on dialysis is like being in a washing machine, your blood is put through a 4 hour rinse cycle and then you come out all squeaky clean. I don’t put salt on my dinner anymore, it’s not fair on him. Dialysis means you can get bored out of your skull: but a wondering mind can travel for miles and miles and miles, and there are no limits to the imagination.

A site-specific show housed on the fourth floor of the historic Gostin Building in the heart of Liverpool One, For The Best has been created over five months with patients attending Royal Liverpool University Hospital, their families, artists and performers. Beautiful, fragile andmulti-layered, this is an imaginative journey through a family's experience of living with chronic illness.
