Transition Town Tooting and participatory artists Encounters have teamed up to invite YOU to take part in reimagining our world in the tooting transition shop as part of Wandsworth Arts Festival Nothing is for sale but all are welcome to exchange stories, ideas, skills and food.
Add your most memorable moments to the Tooting map, top up your wellbeing, sow seeds of hope for the future, make your own souvenir of Tooting, and find out when the Tooting bees are coming…transition town tooting (TTT) brought the Trashcatchers Carnival to the High Street in 2010 and are now setting up shop as part of a year long exploration of happiness and wellbeing in our lives.
Encounters are collaborating with TTT to create their eighth shop in the UK, where people of all ages and cultures are invited to share the joys and challenges of what it’s like to live now. tooting transition shop has received funding from Wandsworth Council’s Big Society and Cultural Wealth Fund and is part of the Wandsworth Arts Festival.
