Priyesh has been a member of the youth board for two years since completing the Summer School in 2008, and has just finished his degree in Fine Art from the Ruskin School of Drawing and Fine Art in Oxford.
He makes installations and prints about the historic functions and social contexts of spaces, objects and images and has exhibited in Oxford, London, Venice and Beijing. In 2010, he was awarded the Red Mansion Art Prize where he will have an exhibition in the Spring. Priyesh has also curated exhibitions, ‘The Warp and the Weft’ at the University of Oxford Botanic Gardens and ‘Alight Here’ at the Platform One Gallery in Wandsworth Common (as part of Pass it On). In the future, he hopes to continue working on both his practice and curation and being an active member of the youth board.
