As the winner of the Gate & Headlong New Directions Award 2008, Chris Goode will be directing …SISTERS, a radical version of Three Sisters, at the Gate Theatre in London this summer.
Chekhov’s masterpiece of loss and longing, inertia and the impossibility of escape will be deconstructed and reconfigured live by six actors, ensuring that a very different performance takes place every time. …SISTERS will mark Chris’s first live experiment on a classic text since his home-delivery Tempest in 2000.
