AfroLata Performance

AfroLata outdoor drumming performance in Mallon Gardens at Toynbee Studios as part of Artsadmin at home.

AfroReggae, which has brought sell-out performances to the Barbican and Carnegie Hall, visits East London for the launch of the Cultural Olympics, and Open Rehearsal weekend.

Originating from the favelas of Rio, where it works with young people to get them out of drugs and gang crime, AfroReggae UK Partnership is part of a 7-year project in the UK combining high quality performance with social process.

The outdoor drumming performance is by AfroLata (an AfroReggae offshoot), and is organised by the Spitalfields Festival with the Barbican, Artsadmin, and AfroReggae UK Partnership.
