STAY!
Drawing its inspiration from Paula Rego’s painting Girl Lifting her Skirts to a Dog, the classic play Who’s Afraid of Virginia Woolf? and the sentimental film Lassie Come Home, STAY! Is an exploration of lust, loss and a very different kind of love. This two-hander reveals the dark side of a couple’s tempestuous relationship through Makishi’s trademark absurdist humour.
STAY! was developed at Lyric Hammersmith and funded by Arts Council England.
