Wendy Houstoun in Anatomy Lessons
Wendy Houstoun
The history of anatomical study boasts many famous anatomy lessons. Over two evenings in the Lillian Baylis Studio, a handful of artists have been invited to present their own anatomy lesson, this may be a performance, a lecture or demonstration.
The evening will include anatomy lessons from award-winning choreographers Wendy Houstoun and Anna Williams, poets Malika Booker and John Hegley and Brian Lobel’s An Appreciation – a touching and revealing performance about something lost and something gained.
The inimitable Tammy Whynot (AKA Lois Weaver) will be the Mistress of Ceremonies bringing her unorthodox method of inquiry to the subject and asking special guests ‘What Tammy Needs to Know about Anatomy’. Part of Clod Ensemble’s Performing Medicine Anatomy Season.
