Choreographer Robyn Orlin works with the dynamic and fearless dance troupe, Moving Into Dance Mophatong, to present a vibrant celebration of the beauty of Africa. Appealing to dance and theatre audiences alike, this raucous and entertaining spectacle unites dance, text, image and props with humour and virtuosity. Expect some haggling, gargling, chanting, an attempt to skype with divinity and many more beautiful and witty surprises.
A major figure in the international art scene, Laurence Olivier Award-winning Robyn Orlin has long been considered the enfant terrible of South African dance.
Presented by Dance Umbrella, the Barbican and East London Dance in partnership with Stratford Circus.
