Yellow Patch
Zarina Bhimji
Zarina Bhimji's film installation Yellow Patch (2011), shot on 35mm, on location in India is inspired by trade and immigration routes across the Indian Ocean between India and Africa, an exploration of space with an evocative use of sound. The film focuses on distinct details of landscape and architecture.
Yellow Patch is supported by Outset Contemporary Art Fund, Arts Council England, de Appel arts centre Netherlands, The New Art Gallery Walsall and individual donors.
