Volumes Project, the performance programme running throughout MIRROR CITY at the Hayward, has been conceived by Frank Bock, Nicola Conibere and Martin Hargreaves. In an era when so much time is spent in the digital realm, Volumes Project focuses on the physical body as a means of exploring actual space. The invited artists including Florence Peake will present performances on this theme. Rather than being conventionally staged, these events will take place in ‘in-between’ spaces in the gallery.
