Still from film

7.30pm. Free.

is a film by Sarah Butler, Rebecca Davies and Eva Sajovic, and edited by Shona Hamilton. It documents and celebrates the unique space that is Elephant and Castle Shopping Centre in the face of major redevelopment. Written between 2014 and 2017, the film weaves an imagined voice of the Shopping Centre itself together with the voices and opinions of traders, customers, local residents and academics.

Join us for a screening of the film followed by a discussion about the making process and the conversations and spaces artists can create in places of extreme change.
